Wonderful to have a drink in a castle tower. Views are wonderful across Edgehill battlefield. Serves great real ale .
The food was fine but unfortunately there is no hygiene! There was a hair under the fish ; even though it is blonde and none of us have blonde hair first of all they blamed us; then they accepted!

Fantastic garden which is quite a surprise as you walk down the lawn. Was very calm and quiet. A lovely place to have a walk around and relax with a book. Another great National Trust property - Ben Ritmeyer
