Love this place. The food is always fresh and amazing. The portions are monstrous and the salsa is to die for. If your into salsas like me then this is your place! I give it 5 Stars!!!

Best Service EVER! + If you come on Friday night prepare to wait 1-2 hours wait time. Its a long wait but definitely worth it! and prices are ridiculously cheap and the food is well prepared!

You want History and great food !!? This place has it all pictures of what calif. looked like when it was Mexico's!! It is busy so just be cool they get you in fast !

Expect to wait for a table, no matter when you go. Also expect it to be worth the wait, no matter what you order. Hit up the salsa bar ! The jalapeno salsa (creamy green) is amazing, and pretty hot!

Make sure to fill up your empty bean dip dish with the awesome avocado salsa that they have in their salsa bar . Be careful, it looks just like the jalapeño salsa !!

Best Mexican in the area. Try the molcajete sauce on everything. Beans are great too

Get here early before the crowds do. The Lines are long. Wear ear plugs everyone is talking over the music . The bean sauce is Amazing!

Carmen or Juan (server) 4service only. Manager is pretty awesome considering the amount of traffic they get. Expect a wait even if ur a reg like me. Enjoy unlimited salsa , chips & beandip in meantime

I had the carne asada with shrimp - bomb! The bean dip that they serve with chips - bomb! Ordered the Flan - the worst one ever. I guess I'll stay away from they're desserts . Will def wait for a table.

My favorite Mexican food place... Pace yourself with the chips and bean dip it's insanely delicious. Come with and apetite you wont be sorry...

The best avocado salsa I've ever had! The wait can be long, but the delicious food & excellent service is worth it.

So great! Service is a bit slow, but the food is very worth it!

Servings, even on starters, are huge! You may think you've got a small, order, but you're getting lots of food.

Don't forget to check the back of the menu for super cheap combo plates! They are super tasty, cheap , and TONS of food!

This location is horrible in terms of space but it's still the same great food!

Their enchiladas , burritos , and chicken tacos are outstanding. Nothing in this area quite compares.

they use a different alcohol in their margaritas so it isn't actual tequila because of the lack of liquor license. so you're pretty much stuck w/ beer . the noho location has alcohol though!

The food is awesome. Service? Not so much... Just come here with patience and you'll be fine :)
