Backwater's On Sand Key

If the weather is nice, be sure to get a table outside for an amazing view ! They have daily happy hours and cocktail specials . Get the Ribeye steak and ask for it butter blackened. It's amazing!

A favorite among Sand Key locals since they can walk there. It's not cheap however they do have earlybird pricing and be sure to make reservations - been there at 4:30 before & were booked solid

The fried coconut shrimp and the grouper nuggets are amazing and the staff is super kind and friendly .

Blackened salmon , lobster rolls , chicken Parmesan sandwich . Good atmosphere, complementary valet services . We'll be back.

Great deck area over the water. Reasonable food and good value . The bacon wrapped scallops were well executed but some unnecessary extra spice was added. Fries should be from fresh potatoes .

Love the food, but parking is very limited. I have a great waterfront table and am enjoying a glass of wine while my sweet husband is driving around trying to park .

French onion soup was great. Lobster egg roll was huge (enough for 2). The bacon wrapped scallops were way too salty/seasoned - ask them to go light on it if ordering.

The lobster bisque was great as was the NewYork Strip steak . Looking forward to my next visit v

Very disappointing tonight. French onion soup 6 out of 10. Ribeye was awful. First one over cooked and gristly. Second one was cooked better but still gristly. Tons of fat. Just bad cuts of meat.

House dressing (pomegranate vinagrette) is awesome! Sweet potatoe fries are excellent and steak is cooked exactly as ordered

After 20 minutes of being seated, not a single person came to great us, let alone take our drink or food order. Manager was pretty indifferent to our issue.
