Love this spot. Excellent food across the board, though it’s not cheap . Inspired beer list too, with four rotating drafts (usually local) and many of the classic standbys in cans/bottles.

Amazing vibes and food and drinks. Walked in on a random Boston stroll and it turned out to be an amazing solo dining experience. Definitely coming back for their vegan dish “Gorditas”!

Lived in JP for 5 years; this was my favorite restaurant . Outstanding food, excellent ambiance, wonderful staff , good beer . If you haven't been, go. And if Dan is at the bar , tell him I said hello!

Vee Vee is a 35-seat neighborhood restaurant opened in 2008 by Dan and Kristen Valachovic (Mr. and Mrs. Vee). The artwork in the restaurant rotates on a roughly bi-monthly basis.

The shrimp and scallop cakes are to die for. Everything is fresh.

Brent is usually tending bar . He curates the art as well as The Hallway Gallery down the street. Ask him about it and earn some brownie points.

The Meadowlark from Pretty Things is tasty. Dan knows his beer !
