Excellent fish and chips , chicken shish and a good takeaway at the back

Fish & chips here's great. Best eaten while it's hot. Staff here are friendly and chatty.

Average to good fish . The cod and haddock are both served as a single, large filet. Chips have zero flavor. Good mushy peas .

Awful overpriced greasy soggy fish and chips . Don't let the sign fool you, this is a bog standard kebab shop that took over old premises and the name, just added a 'posh' (ikea) looking seating area.

If you are used to how Gigs used to be it is now a lot posher for eating in! Quite steep prices but food is still good - not sure if value for money is there and on this occasion pretty rude staff .

Fish & Chips are decent but nothing special. Fish is fresh but batter is quite floury.

I recommend the fish .

Disappointed to say that some of the lamb pieces in my (last) shish were not fresh - didn't smell right!
