The Crab Trap

Stopped in a dinner and I am glad we did. The crab dip and the gumbo were great. Our dinners took a little long but they were worth the wait. The mahi mahi was cooked to perfection.

A friend brought me here for lunch and I must say I was very surprised. The crab dip is very creamy and I like that they serve pita chips with it. My shrimp po boy was excellent.

I have always enjoyed the Crab Trap, today was no different. They have the best crab dip and the people who work there are always friendly . I have learned to go early because it gets really busy.

Really well-trained staff and great food. I ordered the yellowfin tuna was served by a very nice waitress with a pleasant smile who was helping with our large table. Job well done.

Very casual place to eat with fun Florida style of the beach inside, not to mention the best crab cakes loaded with crab meat and great seasoning and some good sweet tea !!!

A friend recommended the Crab Trap to us, it is a very nice restaurant very laid back with friendly servers . The manager was nice, came over to our table to make sure our lunch was good.

Food was excellent. The crab claws are the best. Our waitress was always smiling and very helpful. The atmosphere was great, which is perfect for us as we had 2 small children.

Had a great casual dinner with the family and was surprised with how well every was. We have a picky eater and he ate everything on his plate that’s a big thumbs up from me.

The day was beautiful and the deck seating made our lunch very appealing, the sea air while eating our Po Boy’s brought back memories of our childhood.

The amberjack grilled is very good, but I wish it had more seasoning on it, my husband says it’s wonderful the way it is. We do agree that the gumbo is wonderful and full of flavor.

After being seated it did not take our waitress very long to take our drink order or deliver them and take our order. I have to say that I had the best blacken mahi mahi and island shrimp .

My favorites are the gumbo mixed with rice , key lime pie and raw oysters . I occasionally also have the shrimp po' boy .

Hop skip and jump from Orange beach ! Food was fantastic! Kids portions large enough to split! Playground in back and beach access ! Can't go wrong!

We sat at the oyster bar and had fun with the server, while he worked. The oysters were fantastic and the grouper bacon ranch sandwich was great.

Thank you to our server Jon he was great tonight. We had a lovely time and our food was delicious. We will be back.

We had a very good time eating lunch at Crab Trap today, our baskets of shrimp and snapper and chicken tenders were very good.

I'm not a fish fan but wanted to be adventurous and try "local" food. The blackened amberjack was yummy and VERY spicy !!

Had a lovely dinner . Our server was friendly and fast with our order. I got the shrimp Alfredo and it was good.

Playground is suitable for all ages, crabs and crab dip are great and the coconut salt scrub in the bathroom is awesome (gotta try it)!

WOW the She Crab soup IS GREAT. Got in fast right at dinner hour. Definitely will come back when in the area.

Probably the best mahi mahi I have had in a long time, very fresh and cooked just right.

Awesome gumbo and a great Mahi mahi sandwich with spice for lunch on this chilly day.

Happy hour starts at 3:00 pm. Gotta love the drink specials and the food. Don't forget to ask for your local's card!!

Everything was delicious! One of the best restaurants on the gulf!

I had a grouper sandwich today and I think it is even better than the shrimp Po Boy .

Sit outside and kids can play on the playground while you wait for your food. They also get a bucket and shovel to play in the sand.

Lovely restaurant with very good food and very accommodating and friendly staff .

Great food and wonderful service.

Service was HORRIBLE, food was ok, expensive , never again. Our waitress tried, poor lady. She was nice but overloaded. We got ignored when we walked in, waited for waitress for 10minutes.
