Visited during workday lunch . Impressed with tall ceiling, spacious seating & cool temperatures. The L-shape stalls along the edge meant a longer walk back if you don’t find something you wish to eat

Nasi lemak . 97 Nasi Lemak #02-03 ticks all the right boxes: fragrant rice , sweet spicy sambal , well-marinated proteins, garnished with cucumber & ikan bilis — & affordable ???? This plate $4.40

Min jiang kueh (Chinese pancake , from $1.50). Munchi Pancakes #02-23 offers traditional & modern local pancakes . This MJK has a thick batter but powdery texture. Generous with filling though

The whole hawker centre is fitted with High Volume Low Speed (HVLS) fans. Great for circulation & to keep the public space cool

There’s a The Little Library along the covered walkway to Fairprice supermarket . For sharing children’s books ????????

Coffee . Thick & flavourful, but could do with more aroma. This Kopi-O kosong ‘di lok’ (undiluted) $1

There aren’t enough drink stores to service this food centre. 15-20 minute wait is not acceptable. Perhaps they should have another one.

From 1st Jan 2024, no more cockles or Si Hump in CKT. Want hump, need to pay extra $2, that will make CKT a total of $6. GO TO Bangkit instead
