The owner is super friendly and truly passionate about what he does. I frequently go in just to get a pear tart but come out with $30 in pastries just because they all look (and taste so good!)

The multi-layered berry cake is only available on weekends & is simply amazing. It looks heavy but it super light & flavorful. Also, the owner is very personable & explains every pastry in detail.

I buy dense German multigrain breads from here every week. I don't know what they are but they are absolutely delicious, as are the butter filled pretzels and desserts . You knead to check it out.

The owner is so kind and ready takes pride in his pastries and coffees . They use organic milk and the beans are direct from Europe. I love getting their small Nutella donuts/beignets.

The owner is extremely friendly which adds to a great experience:) try their apricot pastry n the chocolate mousse cake with nuts n dark chocolate shavings with their latte macchiato-delisshhh!!!

Love their cappuccino . All the cakes are yummy, loved this exceptionally moist Apricot Cake .

The guy knew to speak German to me before I ever uttered a word, and the pretzels were a delight. I’ll come back for sure

Had the hazelnut cake - OH MY. BEST cake I've ever had! Pricey at $7.28/slice but totally worth it. Some friends had the cheese balls, apparently also amazing. Great coffee too!

If you want to feel like you are in Germany go there for breakfast or lunch , best bread and cold cuts ! The most delicious coffee !

Authentic Bavarian pretzels (but get there early), excellent pastries and European style coffee .

The sunflower seed , pumpkin seed , whole grain breads are spectacular! Definitely the best bakery in Hoboken .
