As much as I like Dayton, its coffee scene isn't quite there yet, but Press is the exception: solid pour overs and lattes , even roasting their own beans via Wood Burl . Seriously a gem.

Pastry choices are limited, but the chocolate chip cookies are fantastic (home baked by the owner's mom, I hear). The espresso donuts are perfect, too—made by nearby Evans Bakery from Press' beans.

Written up by Zagat as one of the 10 coolest independent coffee shops in America. More importantly, the coffee lives up to the hype — easily among the best espresso drinks I've ever had.

I have been coming here for a cup nearly every weekday since they opened in 2011. You can count on good coffee served by friendly people.

Staff was excellent and very helpful. It was my first time here and he explained different options to me without making me feel dumb. I think that's great staffing!

In an age of thirty ingredient coffees , this place delivers on the classics - like their vanilla latte which is to die for!

If you like cold coffee , try the off-menu concentrado… Amazing. Also, they take credit cards now!
