North York Central Library (Toronto Public Library)

Use this place! It's amazing! The wifi is pretty good, but in the early evenings can get slow. Great place to learn about new things or read a textbook you aren't yet ready to buy.

I love this library because of its special design. It is based on open space and mostly is good for groups . You barely can find a quiet place to study

the atmosphere, the high ceilings , the queit and peaceful environment and novels in different languages.

Grab a mocha icepresso from the lady at second cup in the plaza before heading in to the library . She makes it with real espresso . Keeps you awake.

Large, comprehensive Toronto Public Library location that’s directly connected to North York Centre station!

Probably the best place to get work done in North York.

Don't leave the study room unattended with your belongings in it. People DO keep track of time that need the booths too. Don't whine if your stuff isn't in the room anymore! You're responsible!

Its a quiet and beautiful environment though they offer limited museum passes.

Don't ever go there in summer , they have nooo idea about air conditioners

My local library has only one floor and this one has six. Envy :(

I haven't had the Mac wifi problems mentioned. Lucky I guess. I do wish browsery items were catalogued though so at least I'd know when to look again.

Wifi connection is weak and slow. I use my phone to tether to even faster than the library wifi sometimes

Mac user? try going to the top levels for WiFi

The lower basement has great connection signal for Mac.

Wifi is NOT stable .... You need to try to connect the internet again and again.

Wi-Fi is not available on the 4th floor & up.

wifi here isn't so mac os friendly , had to boot over to windows for better speeds.

Rubbish wifi...damn slow...
