A must-see site while visiting Indy! If you're visiting during the off-season, make sure you go in the museum or take a tour and learn the history behind "The Greatest Spectacle in Racing."

Steven Warren

The 12 year-old at the track today is the 22 year-old in the infield 10 years from now and the parent of a new race fan years later. The Indy 500 is a memorable experience for each generation!

A lot of walking. Really enjoyed the experience of watching qualifying with the Scouts I came with. Clean venue. They let you bring food and drinks. Lots of history to see, while being modern too.

Downtown Indy

Established in 1909, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway has long prevailed as an icon of motor sports excellence. It is the world's largest spectator sporting facility .

John (aka “PHATFoodFan”)

Great place to get your @covid19 vaccine (Johnson & Johnson as well as Pfizer)! They were fast and friendly with National Guard staff , don’t even have to get out of your car!

Jasmine O'Conner

Great seating and food. The suite life is where it's at. Always something for the kids. This place is for the racing lovers.

Jelena

Indy 500 is a must-see! Turn 1 seats are great but most are uncovered - so lather on the sunscreen ! Bring ear plugs, water & food - you'll be here a while. Pro tip: Hopscotch to avoid all the litter.

Ricky Sherrill

Look around and take in the history. Also be sure to check out the Museum while you are visiting the track .

Mike D

I'll come here sometimes just to be surrounded by 300,000 strangers and eat chicken and watch cars go around in circles - other times I take a nap instead

Chris Calligan

AWESOME!! Especially great if you really know the history. Can't wait for the one hundredth running!!!!!

Ross Robertson

I've been going to the 500 for quite a few years now. Jell-O shots and 40oz are plentiful in my section.

Gregg Ginsberg

Was here for the SCCA National Championship Runoffs w/ over 950 race cars / entrants and the "Yellow Shirts " (IMS staff ) never set a foot wrong.

General admission infield seating (when available) is cheap and fun! Bring a picnic blanket and sit in the grass on the backstretch for NASCAR and the S turn for Moto GP for great views !

Estela Vazquez Perez

get a VIP on the pit side to get the sun and full action. Awesome views from anywhere.

Randy Tate

I love this place. The history. A must see for motor heads!

Joe Lai

Track tour and museum is awesome! Don't bother with the Dallara factory tour . Historic venue that unfortunately had seen better days and could use a "Fenway" like restoration.

Tess Hankins

The Clabber Girl trailer has the best biscuits and gravy along with yummy cookies , coffee , and a strawberry shortcake type thing. So good! And they are owned by Hulman and Co.

Make sure you bring your sunscreen if you are in the infield . It's worth absorbing the extra rays to explore everything the infield has to offer on a race weekend.

Jesika Gunter

Sign your child up for the IMS Kids Club . It's the best! You get so much for only $25 all year. Easter, Indy, 400, RBIGP, Hslloween and Holiday Party's!

Eric McCutchan

Don't expect to actually check in here very easily on race day. All the non-Foursquarers suck up the 3G/4G with data use on their own phones. AT&T needs to install more towers in Speedway.
