Short's Burger & Shine

I loved the Beaconsfield burger ... Beer list is great. The Short Sauce is really tasty. This place will not disappoint. It seems to get packed during the dinner rush. You may want to get there early.

A GREAT place to watch Iowa football games if you are looking for a downtown establishment that is a little tamer, but still festive . Large TV 's, comfortable seating , delicious food, and local beer .

This place has the best beer ever!! I do not like beer but I had one that is brewed here in Iowa and it tasted amazing..... Their fries are like no other and burgers are very good as well .

Shorts is one of our favorite stops on the way to Iowa State but today was a little disappointing. Why ruin a great burger with great toppings with a stale falling apart bun ? Don't cut those corners

Short 's has AMAZING burgers . Its a great place to meet with friends for a bite to eat. However, it is a very small restaurant and it is very difficult to sit more than 6 people!

You can't go wrong with anything at Shorts ! Try the 18 S. Clinton (#2 - lettuce, tomato , pickle , and cheese ). YUM! Plus, you are supporting the local farmers - the beef is from Iowa!

Local Iowa Beers , and all the beef comes from local Iowa Farms ! The hand cut fries are delicious, esp with the "Short 's Sauce"! Get the "Dundee " it's amazing!

Not a lot of seating, but I've never had to wait. Not the greatest for families, but so delicious.
