Great cathedral with Russian architecture , very retro .

If you ask me this is the most exciting church in helsinki. Architecture , and the religious event inside ????????

Helsinki city authorities have renamed a park in Katajanokka Tove Jansson Park in honour of the world-renowned artist , illustrator and creator of the Moomin series.

Russian Orthodox cathedral overlooking the main harbour . Beautifully decorative inside. Well worth seeing.

Don't really like orthodox churches , they look too pretentious with all those icons and gold all way around.

Be aware that the Church is closed on Monday.

Был построен по проекту русского архитектора А. М. Горностаева в псевдовизантийском стиле в 1868 году. Освящен в честь Успения Пресвятой Богородицы.

Есть тут и православные храмы . Очень красивый. Нужно ещё внутри побывать.
