Honestly, best burgers in town . Just do the Char + Cheese , or get the Santa Barabara ???????? I think it won best burger in Sac one year. Also great fries & THE BEST ranch!
If you like In-N-Out you will like The Habit. Their fries and burgers are very similar. Their food is fresh and you get all the veggies (the good stuff!)
The Teriyaki Char with pineapple is great, the service is friendly , and it's a grassy place to study if you don't need an electrical outlet !
Chicken club sandwich is awesome, fresh, great texture, good balance. Fries and rings are great too.
The Santa Barbara style is awesome, ask for the sourdough bread extra crispy with a side of ranch for dipping :)

Vegetarian a fear not. The veggie burgers are terrific and you can have with a lettuce wrap .
