Love this theater for it's ambiance, awesome manager who dresses up in costume for each movie , and the great leg room since they've removed every other seat. Sometimes it's cool so bring a sweater.
Best place to see movies in Los Angeles . Great sound, tons of legroom & genuine 1990's prices. Fuck Regent Theaters and AMC, go here and support a great local spot . Even the concessions are cheaper.
Beat theatre in LA. Come for the first showing of the day, and get a ticket, soda and popcorn for $14. Plus, despite being an older theater, it has modern style seats.
One of the best theaters in Los Angeles and one of the last remaining historical buildings from the 1920s. Best legroom with really comfortable seats . Oh and matinee showings are only $6.50!
My favorite movie theater . Reminds me of Grand Lake back in Oakland. So vintage looking and they only play one movie at a time so it feels really intimate . Read more
This is a great venue love the Egyptian Decor. Plenty of leg room , comfy seats , mug holders. I'm cozy . Even if you see a movie that sucks here. You won't be disappointed in the venue.
If you're seeing a popular movie , go there a little early to line up and get the better seats. Go through the left door when you enter as everyone always seems to go right.
Such a cool place, tiny entrance with a huge theatre room coming, color decorations on the walls, confortable seats. Love it.
Hot dogs ! Popcorn is good, and I don't usually like popcorn . Always such cozy seats and plenty of room! Great theatre!
Dramatically beautiful theater. Get their early. Deeply comfortable seats . Popcorn of course. Matinee prices too.

This is Mikel Jollett of the Airborne Toxic Event 's favorite place to see a movie in LA. He says, “It’s this huge, beautiful theater, but it always feels more intimate , like you’re in a living room.”

Great theater in Los Feliz. Great matinee prices , nice seating environment and good snack options.
Great old Hollywood vibe, shows just one movie but it's usually an early release!
Don't be thrown off by its modest exterior. This theater is big and beautiful.

Ideal place to see a movie . Classic theater interior with lots of legroom.
Ripping out every other row of seats means you can lay down if you want to - and the floor is clean enough for it, too.
Best theater to see any film in. Pour some M&Ms in your popcorn and clap along to the opening pre show commercials.
This place is stunning. Egyptian revival decor gives this egyptophile a serious boner.
I challenge anyone to name a theater with more legroom and busts of pharaohs all at the same place.
