Experience the color and fragrance of 424 varieties of roses in full bloom as you stroll through 13 acres of garden beds. This is a wonderful place to walk and take in the beautiful scenery of roses .

Some of the best skipping rocks around can be found in the creek in between the Rose Garden and the baseball diamonds .
The Annual Festival of Roses held each June is a highlight for the Park . Enjoy the wonderful aroma of the roses in season!
Rose blooms are May for heirloom roses , June for main rose displays, summer for perennials and herbs. A serene place to walk through any time of year.
The roses are all the way past the library , down the hill , behind the pavilion building. It took me a couple years to realize they were back there.

Go in May-July, when the roses are in bloom and the blooms are 3/4 open for the best photos.
