It is a must if you want to see how it was actually built and renovated. Worth the time and the price (free).

Its a place where they kept all the left over structure when they restore the temple
Not much to it. Pretty badly lit inside but it’s kinda cool to see the architectural archeologists notes and stuff

Love the temple to meditate at evening, then have a dinner at waroeng mendut, a nice resraurant by a river, 200 meters from Mendut temple - Java Bali Trip
