each dish on the menu shows the year it was introduced. i’m trying to start with the oldest ones and then working my way down from there.

Opened in 1962 by the son of the owners of the original 1927 El Cholo on Western Ave in L.A.

I love the burrito dorado. This is the best restaurant , my parents have been coming here for 30+ years, I've been coming here for the entire 18 years of my life :-)

Shrimp fajita , vegetables fine shredded, guacamole the side, no oil, well done, flower tortillas crispy . Taste of heaven! Ask for Tino in the main section.

The sampler plate is good. Also the fajitas are excellent. The shrimp enchiladas are fantastic too.
