Jake's Philly Steaks

Jake's had gotten a little stingy with the meat and cheese over the last couple of years. New owners have fixed that. Ordered my fav (fajita Philly w queso ) and it was STUFFED! So good!

Great place with a motivated owner. Good food, good beer selection , live music , giant screens- definitely a sports bar to come back to.

Great place if you wanna watch Rockets games. They have all the major network providers. Manager is awesome and very involved in his business always looking to take care of his customers.

Numbers 1, 4 and 7 will never ever steer you wrong. Also, they have the best chicken salad sandwich I have ever had in my entire life. Love this place!!

New owners are great and liquor license coming in a month or so! Woot woot!! Sandwiches are as great as they were 15 years ago when I worked there. :-)

The #4 fajita Philly steak is freakin amazing! The #1 is also really great! Make sure you try one of the sides too!

Came back the next day it was so good! Potato salad was bland and French fries weren't that great either. I would go for chips instead. Sandwiches were awesome again!

I love phillys but this is no bueno. A small portion of cold gross looking meat. Also not very clean and a strange vibe in this place, made worse by bartenders talking crap on customers.

Cheesesteaks are dry and the bread is horrible. Nothing like a real Philly cheesesteak . Bartenders and beer selection are good. Chicken and pastrami wiches are decent.

Make sure you get the #cheesewhiz for your fries ! BOMB

Go to Jake's. Order a large philly steak with cheese whiz and extra onions . Draft beer and darts to top it off. Just avoid NFL season. Eagles fans come out of the woodwork.

Used to be my favorite place for a Philly cheesesteak until they started using fake powdered cheese instead of cheese wiz. Meh!!!

Being from Philly, Jake's reminds me of home!!

Cheesesteaks are below average. Bartenders are great. Go for the drinks, skip the food.
