In the 20-ish years that I’ve been going to Hansen’s, NEVER a disappointment. Top 3 flavors: nectar cream (pictured), satsuma , and pear (a special they only have sometimes)

I love a Grape Hot Rod ! The ice in these snoballs is ground so fine that when it's mixed with their homemade syrup it's almost like yogurt .

Doesn't get better than this. Great price, fabulous service, and HUGE list of amazing flavors. Don't forget your go-cup!

There are no shortcuts to quality. The. Best. Ice. Large variety of flavors and sundae sort of things. Some modern flavors like hot peppers and vinegar.

Cream of Ice Cream or Cream of Nectar with condensed milk ! Yum! Best snoballs in the city . You have not had a snoball until you've had one from Hansen's. Different and better than the others.

Forget the traditional flavors and go for the fancy flavors. The cayenne pepper ginger snoball will surprise you. In a GOOD way :)

The best snoballs in the city ! Be prepared to wait in line on the street for up to an hour - but the wait is very much worth it. Only open suring snoball season, so if in doubt, call.

Snoballs: Hansen's is known for their creams and other great flavors. I'm a purist. A lot of people like the chocolate snoball doused with condensed milk .

I got a hotrod with Mary's own syrup and vanilla ice cream , and it was everything I needed it to be and more.

The cream flavors are truly outstanding, especially cream of coffee , cream of nectar , and the amazingly named cream of ice cream . Open March through Labor Day.

I think the best Sno balls in Nola. Satsuma flavor is amazing. They make them in layers, and they melt the slowest. 

half satsuma + half vanilla bean is the way to go!

All the other tips here r good, but if u want 2nd generation expert advice, nectar cream junior atomic will change your life!

Do not get fooled feom the outside!!! Snow balls are amazing!!

Cayene Ginger , fresh cucumber with strawberries , and George's Special (limeade & fruit punch). The best EVER!

My latest try was the hibiscus flavor and it was just delightful!

Skeptically order the ginger cayenne with crushed strawberries , then love yourself for making such a wise decision.

Cream of Nectar and Cream of Almond , fantastic. Their special Halloween menu almost swayed me, but stuck with a classic.

Special flavors are worth checking out--the Rosemary-and-mint is shockingly good
