In late summer, you simply must buy the boxed peaches . They are the sweetest, most wonderful peaches you will ever eat! Be sure to come friday or early Saturday before they run out!

Decent liquor selection (Koval, Hendricks, etc.), 9:30 on a weeknight the place is silent. Perfect shopping time if you can swing it.

The samples they offer at the back of the store always give me good ideas for new things to make...or at least you get a snack while you shop

Drive a small car! Their parking lot is crazy -- it's got a really steep two-way driveway and tons of concrete pillars that obscure your view .
