Until 4:45 pm every day, you can take an elevator to the top of the tower. They've also opened a marvelous gallery to view the inside of the clock mechanism .

If you want to get a 360 degree view of the city , get on the elevator adjacent to the information booth . There is also a hidden staircase behind a door next to the elevator .
Take the elevator to the top, take in the views in all four directions, and then enjoy what you fine on all the floors as you walk down the stairs .
When you have a Court Date & they say they're open from 8-3pm. That doesn't mean you can go anytime you want. Get there @ 7:30am & say a few Hail Mary's.
Built in 1929, the courthouse used to also be the city jail. Parking along the street, or at the public parking adjacent to the library is free up to 75 minutes.

If you have Jury Duty show up early and park at the Garden Lot well worth it! If not you either pay for parking or have to walk 6 blocks.
