Alfred Coffee & Kitchen

They brew Stumptown beans (from the local LA Stumptown ). Much bigger than it looks from the outside; they have a nice patio too. There is wifi and (very few) outlets, so you can get work done too...

Easily my favorite coffee shop in LA thus far. Very creative. Working creatives. Inspiring to me. Solid wifi signal, but strength has always needed help, and can drop now and again.

Great coffee . Great vibe. Nice people. Quaint and plenty of working space. A great spot to be productive or meet someone for an appt.

Great lattes and they have oat milk . The large iced oat mocha saved me on this insanely hot day. But they don’t have any outlets. A great place for meeting but not necessarily for working.

Wifi is free, coffee is courtesy Stumptown Coffee Roasters , pastries are tasty and the experience is irresistibly Instagram-able (Seriously. That "But first, coffee " decal should have its own handle.)

Our visit to Alfred's Coffee , nestled beside Glossier on Melrose, was a delightful experience. The vibrant pink hue of the matcha was as eye-catching as it was delicious matching the trendy branch.

Great coffee and selection of juices . Sit and hang inside while enjoying your drink of choice or sit out on the front porch under the sun watching the trendy people of Melrose Place pass by.

great coffee . good for a meeting (with outdoor seating ). good people watching and easy to bring family too - nice to walk around the block. (street fair on weekend when i was there)

What a place. This is one of the bests to get some work done. They definitely served good coffee and delectable cookies at a very affordable price . The music they played had me rocking in my seat.

This place is like heaven. Go for a Rico Suave burrito and some cold brew . Can't do anything wrong here.

Tiny may be deceiving . This nook is great for that morning coffee and take away when you are on the move .

Alfred uses Stumptown coffee , which is a personal fave. Great coffee ! I highly recommend the ham & cheese croissant too.

Come to the original Alfred! If there ever was a morning hangout spot with long lines of people watching/watchers on Melrose place... It’s my place on the Place!

Really great coffee . Hot chocolate was very good too. Didn't try any of the food products but seem healthy. Crowd is cool too lovely outdoor seating .

Just tried the espresso in a chocolate waffle cup and although I wouldn't do it everyday it was definitely a great way to start the day ;-)

The cappuccino was the perfect foam to milk to espresso ratio. And they use Stumptown coffee !
