Beautiful park but it gets very cold and windy during spring and fall, even on warm days.
Requires Nassau Leisure Permit in addition to NYS Freshwater License to fish !
Great playgrounds for all ages but no stroller-friendly walking loop around the pond .
Nicest park in a while..,,,but gotta show proof of nassau residence or pay $10
Great place for kids - the sprinklers are on during the summer and there is a pretty man-made lake where you can feed the geese if you want!
