Relaxing pub divided into several attractive drinking areas. Well known haunt of Lenin and Stalin in 1905. Great real ales .

Amazing food! 6 of us down for the weekend. Nice selection on the menu and all well cooked and presented. Happy and knowledgable staff . Beer selection was also great. Will be back again.

A nice, relaxed vibe in here. Great selection of speciality and craft beers/lagers from around the world, and quality pub grub to go with it. Just expect to be paying minimum of £5 a pint on average.

Good pub . Nice selection of beers . Good looks good, though I didn't try it. Nice outdoor area at the front, in the square.

10 February: Drink in the pub where Lenin and Stalin 'first met'. Some claim that they met in the pub which is now called the Crown. Lenin had recently moved publication of Iskra to Clerkenwell Green.

My new favourite local terrace for a sunny afternoon coffee at the weekend. The decor indoors is lovely, need to come back to try the food.

One of my favourite after work drinking holes. Can get very busy after work, but has a large area outside to stand and chill with a pint in summer

Lovely cosy pub with outdoor seating . Nice mulled wine and I like the Modelo drink they do :)

Be extremely careful outside this pub . Pick pockets everywhere and they're seriously good. A friend of mine left a decoy bag so we could catch them, but they managed to get it without us noticing!

One of my fav places for Sunday Lunch order the creamed leeks as a side. Delicious!!

Lovely upstairs area - perhaps a theatre once? Food was good, beer was good, although selection not great. A bit pricey ?

get in early for lunch , any of the sandwiches are good, chips pretty good, too; the sharing platters are good for 2 or more in the evenings

Food is pricier than average but its worth it. Great fish & chips .

Good beer selection , something for everyone. Food can be a bit hit & miss - avoid the coleslaw !

Don't get the chicken supreme unless you love mustard !! Garlic bread was on the hard side but fries (not skin on chips ) are amaze!

Food was overpriced for what it was. A club sandwich for 8 quid with some cheap bread and hardly any filling. Fish drenched in oil. The chips were alright but to put it mildy I was not best pleased.

The American IPA is top drawer.

Great selection of beers , but getting food within your lunch break on a Friday lunchtime is very ambitious.

This pub has the best fish & chips in the area

V.busy during the week but lovely spot to while away a weekend. Don't miss specialty beers on tap in the autumn.

Ask for the duck rap! Mmmmmmmm. If you also ask for 'da crap' it's sounds the same - and they don't seem to notice.

Brilliantly historic. Ace food. Friendly people and they allow dogs inside. The upstairs room is beautiful.
