My favorite place to eat in the area. Hidden, rustic and right on the water. Outdoor picnic table seating. Don't be in a hurry you are on Cortez Time. Everything is fresh. Shrimp po'boy pictured.

The fried mullet here is the best, and all the seafood is as fresh as you can find it anywhere and amazing. Try Captain Kathe 's key lime pie too, made like real Floridians only know how. :)

If you don't like seafood (like me), get the honey-pecan chicken . The service is a bit slow, but you can just relax and enjoy the views .

Love the grouper tacos here, would eat at this place every week if I lived in the area! We have bought seafood from the market side in the past which was wonderful as well .

Awesome! The grouper there is excellent as well as the stone crab claws , shrimp , scallops , and conch fritters . Get there before they open because they get busy & have limited seating on the docks.

Crab & corn chowder was delish. Soft shell crab sandwich was good too. Got to try more things. Only cash guys so come prepared!

The freshest seafood u will ever have... It's literally right off the dock and that's where u eat it! My fav restaurant ever. Make sure u have TIME and CASh. Also...$3 wine ? Yes please!

We drove over from Sebring - our first time here - we did not know Star Fish is cash only . Had enough cash to buy the shrimp but not enough to enjoy dinner here. We'll be back!

My Family started this old place. Welcome. Slow your pace while you are here, your already where you want to be. Great food & atmosphere. This is good old Cortez. Love it!

Expect to wait an hour or more for food and deal with cranky staff ... But worth it! Delicious and very affordable .

The shrimp and grits here are epic! So is the grouper , Mahi Mahi , key line pie and anything else you might order. Expect a long wait but it's worth it!
