Kids will love this modern Taipei attraction , which has IMAX and 3D Theatres and exhibits on everything about astronomy and space. Just a 10-minute walk from Shilin or Jiantan MRT. Closed on Mondays.
The space ride on the forth floor is worth the ride for kids. Except that the LCD display inside the cart is too bright in dark, and it will make u dizzy if u have sea sick issue in the past.
A good number of exhibits have English explanations.

Wonderful indoor environment to escape the summer heat without needing to pay museum admission. Food court / convenience store on 1F and 2F. Can easily entertain kids for a good 3 hours!! - abe lin
