a great day trip: we went early Monday morning (perhaps why it was not as crowded ). bring a hat and sunglasses and sunscreen . start with the Sun, then walk your way to the Temple , then the Moon last.
Bring a hat and comfy shoes as well as sun screen. You will want to walk around and climb the pyramids. Do it early otherwise it gets very hot! Also you will get better pictures without too many ppl.
Well worth the 40 minute drive from the city , the bus is super cheap . We walked in the back way for less crowds and went straight to the temple of the moon instead of heading to the temple of the sun

Arrive early to escape the heat and the crowds. Go to the Tetitla Atetelco cooperative for best quality local products and explanation of how they are made.
Take your time here to fully appreciate everything. The site is unbelievable and even the small museum is worth going to!
I love that there are still places we don't almost nothing about it. Steps in the big pyramid are kind of uncomfortable so pick good shoes . 10 minutes walk on the top - maximum!
Need to have cash to buy tickets. Gates close at 5pm. Well worth a trip! Great views from top of the Pirámide del Sol!
Definitely worth the money to hire a guide to drive you around. Amazing views ! Wear SPF and bring water.
Get there EARLY! The line to get up the pyramid of the sun gets insanely long, as does the line just to get into the park !

Its a long climb to the top but easy and worth the experience if you have never done it before.
