This was actually a speakeasy during the prohibition . That, alone, makes it cooler in its own way than anything else in Pittsburgh. The Moscow mule and apple gin mule are delicious.
Actually used to be a speakeasy . Best Old Fashioned in Pittsburgh. Awesome place. Use the back door to leave when the prohibition officers come to bust you for drinking alcohol .
Great bartenders . The mezcal old fashioned is great as is the negroni .
An actual former speak easy . It was found by mistake and was use for storage In the bottom of the penn hotel . Only takes capacity no standing. 2 mixologist that work it steady. Good prices & drinks
Michael Collins and the 12 year Jameson !! Tops!
Fantastic ambiance!
Dawn is a phenomenal bartender . Her Manhattans are unbelievable.
Meh. They limit capacity to one person per seat (no standing room) and their hours are incorrect... 11pm close. At least their drink prices are high to make-up for the shorter hours and limited access
Dawn. And the Manhattans .
Very very cosy
Old timey!
