The Allegheny County Courthouse was designed in 1883 by Boston architect Henry Hobson Richardson and built between 1884-1888.

Filming for Jack Reacher (2012) was done here, including the scenes where Helen, having met with her father, suspects she is being followed down a corridor before being tasered in a lift.
Where we got our marriage license! ... haha jk. adding this because right in this area is really neat gothic (gargoyles, etc.) architecture . Walk the little triangle Liberty/Grant/5th.
Get something in writing with your kids because if you don't could be he'll for the rest of your life or until you go to court and fight for them
Beautiful building but it's falling apart . It is a shame.
