City Tacos

Amazing selection of tacos with great flavors. All the veggie tacos are good but the chile relleno was my favorite.

Holy cow! Or shall i say holy borrego ?? The borrego taco is an explosion of taste in your mouth! As well as the rest. I know good street tacos...these are great city tacos.

Small space (not a lot of seating) and generally long lines at dinner time, but quick service and great tacos . Chile relleno is delish!

A really great collection of tacos and REALLY good salsa/condiment bar . I still haven't found my WOW taco joint in SD, but this will do until I do.

If you've been to Tacos El Gordo and love street tacos , then you'll really love it here. Great gourmet twist to a many favorite fillings.

Great options for vegetarians and vegans , probably the best options for non-meat tacos in town . Their meat tacos are delicious too.

Chile Relleno and Portobelo are great picks for vegetarians . The Michelada (lime+ice+tajim+beer) is a must try!

Some of the best tacos I've ever had! $3.50 each, with generous portions of fish or meat. The mahi and the borrego (lamb ) were fantastic.

Everything is so so so delicious! Try the carnitas , mahi adobo , ahi tuna , el especial, but honestly can't go wrong with anything.

Pet friendly . They'll bring out a water bowl for your pup. Also, tacos have extremely interesting and flavorful toppings. Not cheap but not expensive either given the ingredients.

Burrago taco was amazing! The lamb was so delicious and tender I'm still thinking about it! Definitely a spot to check out!

So. Good. Get El Especial , definitely. I sometimes LOVE the atun and sometimes it's only "yeah, that's good," so get that one twice. Ha!

Had the Chile Relleno . Excellent!!! A big plus is having beer from Mike Hess on Tap . Turned my order from a to go to a eat in.

the salsa bar is outstanding. tacos are a good size.

Boss got takeout for the office : my order was missing (two chile rellenos ); and flour tortillas at aren't necessarily authentic when it comes to Mexican food .

Go to this place. Great, full tacos that are inexpensive . Great choices and flavor profiles.

Puerco Agri Dulce and the Chorizon Asado are amazing tacos !

Try one of the new frijoles sides. One serving is big enough to share. They are delicious.

Veracruz Mahi is the best taco I’ve ever had in a while. Borrego is also very good.

Loved the Pescado and the Borrego . Would skip the Mexicali (too greasy). 2 or 3 tacos was more than enough
