The summer concert series is awesome...especially when you're sitting outside at one of the restaurants having drinks and dinner . Share is my favorite restaurant on the ped mall .
Aww, the heart of Iowa City. It gets crazy here at night, search for the next bar to hit up, flirt with the college crowd , chat with bums, eat a grilled cheese , and tickle those ivory keys!
Great open air, pedestrian-only area with great restaurants , movie theater , and pubs . In summer, wonderful free family-friendly concerts .
Bring sunscreen , and expect to be in the sun if your kids are playing on the playground--not a lot of shade, but the fountain is a must in the summer!
Always great people watching . Avoid the vomit Saturday and Sunday mornings.
Catch live music at the Friday Night Concert Series every Friday night from 6:30 - 9:30 p.m. in the summer!
Lots of construction goin on with the new tower, and at the Sheraton's valet. Be advised.
There is playground on a GREAT bouncy platform outside Capanna coffee shop . Skip across it and smile.

Do my grocery shopping most of the time here, I like the huge amount of organic stuff. I have to say desserts are the best thing! Got a big slice of chocolate cake, it was very cheap and delicious! - Gabz B.
