Pleasant 17th century pub with a traditional interior. Run by Chef & Brewer. Great real ales .

Interesting menu that changes often with Seasons. Very nice and warm atmosphere. Ale selection a bit on the weak side and doesn't seem to change often. Still, my fav gastropub in Wokingham.

Fish and chips are so fresh, much nicer than our local fish and chip shop , and about the same price too. Chocolate fudge cake is gorgeous!!

Sit away from the bar , they have a computer nearby and it is very distracting when you are trying to eat.

Try the Twyford Tipple. A lovely pint.

Been refurbed-much better. Waitress service a lot lot better too
