The best Thai food in Houston and the spiciest damn papaya salad you'll ever eat. Make sure you call ahead before trekking to Long Point, they've been known to close early on a whim. [Eater 38 Member]
Delish drunken noodles , Ginger chicken was also really good with a delicate hand to the ginger so it wasn't overpowering. Overall wonderful meal.
Beef and meatball boat noodles !!! ???????? I have yet to try their curry but heard it's amazing too!
The boat noodle flavor is as good and authentic as you can usually only get in Thailand!
Don't miss: Esarn sausage platter ; som tam (green papaya salad ); Thai omelet ; yum nuer (beef salad ); yum pla mum (squid salad ); panang chicken curry . Read more
The place is a true dive, really, but.it reminds me of Thailand. It's close to home cooking at best. The gaang dang, noodle soups , and gai wha are great. Kind of pricey for the area, and BYOB .
Food was delicious! Service was excellent. Roaches, several were in the restroom . Killed the mood.
Tried all the Thai in town , this one does look the best but it is the closest thing you will find to authentic Thai and I live in BKK 6 months so know a little bit about it...
BYOB here and the chicken satay is great. Some of the best peanut sauce I've ever had.
You can't call yourself a Thai food lover until you've tried Som Thum with crab & anchovies ! Best in Houston by far!
Papaya salad is amazing (super spicy !), panang curry is always a hit!
The Tom yum goong is delicious and the chicken basil is excellent as well . Chicken satay is juicy like nowhere else.
Perfect portions and prices. Bring the booze it's byob . Great service too.
Best Thai food I've had in Houston. Love the curries .
Best Boat Noodles . They also make Laos style papaya salad by request.
Ask to see p'tui's recommendations - a photo menu made by a customer
Ask for their Thai iced tea . You'll be pleasantly surprised!
Great food if you can get past the sketchy location
Great curries . It's always about the sauce!!
paenang curry with chicken is yummy! i always get it
Ginger Chicken is great for Thai food newbies and verse.
BYOB , thai food , pad thai
I meant this place does not look the best from outside but DO step, the food is worth it!!
It was nothing to write home about I asked for Thai spice and it wasn't hot or spicy at all. Almost no flavor
Pad Thai noodles are amazing.
Tiny hole in the wall with good food.
So far I have been unimpressed, the menu isn't impressive, can't substitute meats out of dishes. They do have a limited vegan menu . I also had to kill a roach. Not cool
Best authentic Thai food in Houston !!!!
red curry is awesome
Great kee mao .
Pad Se Eww is the BOMB
Pad Se Ewe is delicious!!!
Superb Thai food !
Pad Thai Chicken and Basil Chix for me
Boat Noodle
Here's a tip...you get a "Spend $10 and get $10 off" deal by Amex...except they DO NOT accept Amex. #fail
Good food!
Boat noodles !
Service was never Vieng Thai's forte, but food used to be good. Now, just resting on their laurels. Neither service nor food are good. Sad.
The food is quite good but the service is terrible. Very frustrating dining experience.
Not so good. Watered down red curry and greasy stir fried pork basil
The food was ok. I’ve had better Thai elsewhere.
this place is BYOB !!
best thai in houston!
Best of Houston 2011 - Top 10 BYOBs - #3
The tomato basil rice with chicken was fabbbbulous! The medium spice was perfect with it. - SpaceTex Mendell
One of the best Thai restaurants I know of outside Thailand. Order your dish Thai hot for extra authenticity. - Martijn De Vries
This is my go to theater in Houston. Consistently good projection, both film and digital. Audio mix is always good ... and loud. The theater has a nice range of projection options for the big films. - W. Ross Wells
If you need furniture, you should buy it here. They have literally everything you might need and more. And the prices are very very good. - Gaston Motola Acuna
Awesome Korean driven grocery. Great food court and the people watching on Sunday is great - Jay Stone
