The Southwest Branch opened on March 21, 1989 in a beautiful Mediterranean style building designed by Schweizer and Associates Architecture Firm, who also designed the Orlando Public Library.

Not a big selection of books and it's a long wait for current titles . The movies and TV series selections are amazing.

If you forget your library card, you can still check out books and pay fees by using your driver's license. If you don't have either, unfortunately you're out of luck.

Its a nice place to study...really quiet so you can stay focused

Burritos are awesome. Ask for cilantro and they will add it for you. You can do the same with the tacos too - a bit of a smaller meal, but just as good! - Chris Mattie
