Quiet & inspiring space to get sh1t done. The wifi isn't always reliable but the Sweet Potato Latte is a guaranteed love. See all: http://foodmento.com/place/2578

Sweet potato latte is great here. Ask for it with almond milk and no added sugar, it's sweet enough as it is! Matcha shortbread doesn't taste like matcha unfortunately.

I am a macaron snob, and I found yakiniQ's macarons to be top-notch. The filling was ample and it was just perfect. They offer so many tasties on the menu too! Very excited to come back for more!

Vilde Anna Egeland

You can't go wrong with the yuzu tea and macarons . Great place to study, there are few power outlets , so go somewhere else or get here early if you need to use a laptop :)

Jeff Weinstein

Secretly best working cafe in town .

Norris Tran

Very quiet/relaxing. Perfect spot for laptop jockeys. free wifi . Pricey interesting/varied cafe menu. note: sweet potato lattes . My gotos: yuzu tea w/organic rose ice cream . (3 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more

Best place to just sit, relax, and do some homework and browse the Internet if you have a day off or have a coffee date with a friend.

Jesse Johnston

Although it's no Blue Bottle , yakiniQ offers lots of espresso beverages at reasonable rates . They also have almond and soy milk for the diary averse!

katherine k. robinson

The onigiri seems expensive but it's gigantic, delicious, and definitely worth it. Don't miss their famous sweet potato latte - try it with soy!

Tianna K

The decor is adorable! A nice place to read, study, or go on a coffee date! Be forewarned though, the prices are a bit high, and my latte was essentially milk . Needs more espresso .

John Bobeldyk

Enjoy a savory snack . The musubi has slightly sweet furikake and the tuna onigiri has a kick.

Arthur Chang

Just discovered this place last week. Quiet little cafe with amazing teas and super friendly service . WiFi , outlets, and board games . Very nicely decorated interior.

Marika Laforest

Nice little place, wonderful ambiance, service A1, coffee is good, music is perfect, macarons are delicious!

Wifi password is sweetpotatohome

This is the cafe right next to the restaurant of the same name. It's bright , spacey and comfortable . Perfect place to read, crochet, chat or catch up on your google reader content

Tian Q.

Surprisingly not bad macarons , get the rose , also the matcha shortbread cookie !

sayumi

they have a unique selection of macarons with Japanese tastes! def try the green tea yuzu one

Pam ☕️ O

Tried to get a sweet potato cappuccino , but that was a no. Regular cappuccino was fine. Note that the sweet potato latte does not have coffee by default.

Sarah Shortino

It's so cozy inside ! My latte and macaroon were wonderful!

Wendy Lin

Relatively few outlets - they are to the right in the seating area when you enter. Great study/chill/chat spot otherwise

Homey atmosphere with an interesting selection. Cool spot to chill too.

Sherry Li

Cute cafe with lots desserts . Lots of fun drinks like the yuzu palmer. The much hyped sweet potato latte was meh, too much fiber and not enough flavor.

Carina Andersen

Try the sweet potato latte , the ginger ice tea or the black sesame ice cream

Oz Lubling

Great place for laptop jockeys. I tried the iced matcha tea and found it very disappointing.

Yuki

San Francisco meets Japan. Pumpkin lattes , beards, green tea cheesecake & macbook airs.

David Fang

The service here is the absolute worst. They really make an effort to send you out the door. Kept asking us if it was our last plate with every order. Even asked us to pay while we were eating.

Tiff Ting

Try the Yuzu Honey Tea - Fresh yuzu , perfect level of sweetness, warms up body and soul.

aetea T

Full of campers, but good selection of (asian) drinks and pastries . Cute spot if you can beat the crowd

Chalisa Boon

Being Ripped off by 4.95$ affogato . 4.95$ is an average price for affogato in San Francisco but what I got is totally unacceptable. The ice cream is only approximately 1/3 of full scoop.

Andrew Giel

very tasty coffee in quiet and stylish atmosp

Angela Kam

Love their macaroons ! Great place to grab a cup of coffee and read a book

Anna Iurchenko

Apple and pecan pies very delicious!

Justin Salsburey

Try the sweet potato latte , quirky and amazing!

K

Sweet potato latte !!

Tatsuhiko Miyagawa

Get Ice yuzu tea ! Their wifi is really crowded and better avoid using it.

Marilou Alejo

Matcha latte ftw. The sweet potato latte makes me feel like I'm drinking soup . -_-

Tiff Ting

Yuzu honey tea , ginger honey tea , and macaroons

Christine

Good spot to pick up a sweet potato latte and dessert ! Everyone behind the counter always seems just as sweet!

Courtney S

Love this place but I find myself never ordering because the tables are always taken by folks working

Amanda S

Order sweet potato latte even if you think you won't like it. The macaroons are cute !

Carol W

Try the delicious yuzu honey tea .

Tiffany Taylor

Their wifi doesn't seem to work for Apple devices the last few times I've been here. I know it worked several months ago, not sure what changed!

Sehee Lim

$10 limitation for debit/credit card

Connie Chen

Wifi password is "sweetpotatohome ." They don't give it to you unless you buy something :P

Patrick Collison

Warm; full of people finding respite from the Japantown malls ; good tea .

Monique Kuwahara

Tea and macaroons are delicious

Bonnie

Great place to chill out if internet works and the staff weren't having the loudest conversation in the cafe . Overpriced food and drinks were overrated

Shirley Liu

Super cute cafe with spam musubi !!

Nikhil C

Cute people studying here or on dates

Hip decor, considering the places around here a salad or sandwich for $10 is a bargain. They have coffee, craft beer and a good selection of scotch and whiskeys. Love the look of their copper tables - Rahul Reddy Padigela
