Free okayish wifi , lots of power plugs at the gates. Comfy leather seats to top it. You can easly spent a few hours waiting for your plane .

Checken, Security, customs and the distance to some of the International gates can add up to a considerable time. Be early to make sure you catch your flight!

If you are Star Alliance Gold:Visit the Air New Zealand lounge . It's great!

I enjoyed staying at the American Express lounge . Lovely food and free wifi .

There can be heavy traffic when heading to the departures drop-off area during the morning rush hour (particularly before 9am). Give yourself some extra time just in case.

Left my camera with all my Australia pictures before boarding my flight!!! I know exactly where I left it. Would any kind soul check if it's still there and take it to lost & found? I'll reward! $$$

Checkin and go through security so that you can chill at one of the bars and restaurants near your gate.

Nice prices at the Duty Free: 2 double black wiskeys Jonnie Walker for 109 and they give you a purse . Two O.P.I nail polish for 25 dlls. Super prices!!!! Though food is so expensive .

Better check-in early because not many check-in counters opened. Do expect to find long queue. For shorter queue recommend to check-in online!

For Commonwealth & Westpac ATMs, they're hiding near Check-in counter K!

Mexicans can stay at the Transit Lounge within 8 hours to connect flight to other countries in Asia or New Zeland with no need of a visa :)

Plenty of places to eat and shop while waiting for departure. Signage could be better. Finding gate 56 was very tricky at the moment

tax refund office located after immigration and screening. Don't forget to claim tax refunds on everything purchased in Australia.

Customs and security checks are fast and efficient. Only take less than 10 minutes for me.

If you have a stopover of less than 7 or 8 hours and you're in transit to another country , the mean airport people won't let you go out and visit the city even though it's only 20 minutes away :-(

Claiming tax refund then get your QR code to avoid waiting in long line .

Don't underestimate how long it will take to get to your gate once you're past Customs - they're still a long way away from the cafes and shops.

It's great to be home at this super efficient airport . Baggage arrives faster than any other airport

Need to input your postcode for free wifi , but seems to work with any letters (for those not resident in AUS).

Immegration is a complete mess, allow at least 3 hours to depart. Arrival can take 2-3 hours of queuing. One of the worst airports in the world but not much choice if you have to visit Sydney.

Average wifi . Lots of charging points for mobiles. Plenty of comfy seats . Defo NOT 24hrs so don't expect anything, I mean anything open overnight, not even a coffee shop ! :(
