Get there early if u want a lounge chair . Being a beach towel just in case they are all gone. Also, listen for the whistle & exit the pool when they tell "all out." Don't make the lifeguards chase u.
By 215 on a Friday it's already hella crowded (Hard to find a chair). It's a great pool (especially for laps) with a fun diving board . Diverse crowd for the people-watchers.
They need to fix the diving boards . That used to be the main attraction . Watching people have diving contests. Please bring them back!
Pull up here with your DC drivers license and a lounge chair of your own and enjoy the clean and often uncrowded pool. Do laps, jump off the diving board , and wear sunscreen .
They are no longer accepting mail and an out-of-state ID to get in.
Keep your booze hidden and you'll be fine.

Hands down best pool in DC. Not too many children/teenagers. Large and lots of area to lay out or find shade. If you want a chair line up at 1130 before the pool opens on the weekends. - Jason Scott
