Give Deep Fried Bamboo Clams a miss. I love century eggs but theirs was a toned-down version that reminded me of sweet & sour pork . Must get: Braised Beancurd with Chinese Cabbage and Bee Hoon .

Made my grand aunt's birthday dinner wonderful with personal touches. Getting there: Exit Farrer Park Exit I and cross over road and walk in direction of Park Royal Hotel . It's just after PRHotel.

This is the original branch of putien and the only one that does their famous fried oyster cake as a whole round piece rather than 3 small individual discs.

Excellent service staff ! Nice fruit decoration for birthday celebration, and they come out in full force to sing to you.

The dishes were obviously awesome (the signature noodles , dou tou clams , luffa) but we were most pleasantly surprised by how kid-friendly service was. No habla ingles tho.

The food is excellent but what's also impressive is the service. Try the seasonal yellow croaker rice

Good service , reasonable prices and tasty henghua style dishes. No wonder it's crowded on a weekday night.

Try their Putien style century eggs . Really delicious and may even win over those who don't like century eggs .

Check out the set meals here. They are awesome! Try also the cockles with minced garlic and chilli - to die for! Definitely worth a revisit.
