Absolutely amazing! So cool to see the old equipment still used to brew. The beer is phenomenal. Vintage bottles are available to purchase. Several bottles available for take away.
If you can, take the tour . Very knowledgeable and entertaining talk on how they brew this very special beer . These guys have passion and commitment to their product.
Quintessential visit when in Brussels. Authentic lambic brewery with an impressive on-site consumption menu. Go for the Gueuze, stay for the Foufoune, Aunis, Carignan, Zwanze,....
One of the real traditional breweries that is still left in the city of Brussels. Come here, have a guided tour , and learn a lot about beer and brewing, and taste some of the best beers one can find!
VERY different from modern (sweet) lambics ! Base lambic was interesting - acidic and not sweet at all. Gueuze = quite good. Kriek and Rose de Gambrinus (raspberry ) = all right (Kriek > Rose )
Self guided tour (7E) includes two tastings and a booklet that teaches a lot about the lambic brewing process. Some of the best beer I've had - get the gueze & kriek for sure! Friendly staff . Perfect.
The self guided tour is amazing, and they got one of the most unusual beers I've never tasted before. The people there is awesome, if you love crafted beers you'll have a blast there.
Excellent selection of sour ales , I can highly recommend the tour , the beers here mostly come in large 75cl bottles and can be shared with other visitors. Personnel could be a bit more friendly
A #1 must-visit for any beer lover in Brussels.A self-guided tour with 2 samples costs 7 EUR,very reasonable.Unfortunately only~2-3 beers are available for takeaway, most can be consumed on the spot.
Cantillon has 7 beers listed in Ratebeer's Best of Sour Beers Top 15, Lou Pepe Pure Kriek was voted one of the World's Best Beers and Cuvée Florian one of the World's Top New Beer Releases [2014]
LMAO at the person who described this as an "incredibly sketchy part of town ". It's fine, honestly. If you like beer DO NOT miss this place. Even if you don't like beer you might have your eyes opened
Great Lambic Beer, with fruit but not sweet. Their best description is “the missing link between beer and wine ”
One of The best ! Amazing brews, lots of rare beers . Taste and buy them on the spot. Can't afford to miss this if you like beer !
The taste of the Lambic is very interesting and a must have fot everyone who is interested in special beers
Interesting place, and great passion/quality. Only drawback was the patronising by (one of) the staff : it's not nice to treat people like idiots when they don't know everything about your passion.
Great lambic place and museum . Go the guides tours and buy with you a bottle or two.
Try to visit on a brew day, it's an amazing experience. Bring cash for the tasting bar and an empty suitcase for takeaway bottles.
This is a hike from downtown and in a neighborhood with little happening. The place looks closed, but just ops the door and walk in.
A nice tour - self guided with a guide book . After the tour , you sample the gueuze, Lambic , Kriek and other Cantillon beers
The gueuze is nice. Lambic is hardcore for unexperienced beer drinkers.. ????
While in an incredibly sketchy part of town , Cantillon is not to be missed by any serious craft beer lover. Take the tour of the world-renowned lambic brewery (replete with cobwebs!), then taste away!
Simply excellent. Get some gueze ripened cheese if you can.
just amazing experience... you can walk among people making beer ! the smell of wort was superb
So amazing! Enjoyed the self guided tour just to see their unique set up. Amazing beers to taste!
Get here early to snag the limited edition and rare beers like Foufonne etc...
Let's do a tour through a real brewery in the heart of the city . See the traditional beer making apparatus, guided by one of the enthusiastic Belgians.
Wonderfull place, lots of history, friendly staff , tasty beers and a smal shop.
Very interesting brewing technique and my first time tasting lambic !
If you love beer , loves history or is just a curious person, you must visit this brewery .
7€ for the self guided tour , includes 2 tastings. Plan about an hour for the visit.
Must visit and try all the beers
Great brewery with lambic Beers , Beers with vild yeast...
Do the self tour or join another tour . A time machine to how brewing was back in the day. Samples at the end of the tour .
Their gueuze has always been a great beer , but for a couple of years now it is even made from 100% organic lambic ! Read more
Legendary. Possibly the best geuze in the world.
Tour this brewery and taste their lambics . Check their website for actual brewing days.
Legendary, and you will understand so much more when you visit.
7€ for a tour with 2 small glasses of Lambic beers . Takes 30' all, rustic but quite a change
Very nice people, fun self-guided tour , world-class lambic and geuze
7€ admission includes self guided tour and tastings
Everything is great if you're into Geuze !
The scent is enticing. The beer is great.
CAREFUL: in addition to a couple of nice guys, there is one very RUDE and OBNOXIOUS guy working here. Be on your guard if you are curious as he might get angry and VERY RUDE. My daughter was shocked.
Not a fan of the beer if I'm honest but the brewery tour was very interesting.
From time to time, a delicious belgian beer can't hurt ;-)
Great beers ,museum also
GREAT brewery tour . Do the walking tour from the Grand Place that is on their website. Mr. Van Roy if there will talk beer all day!
An oasis it what otherwise is the arse end of Bruxelles.
The old woman giving the tour knows everything
Beer is good but don't believe their hours for a minute. They stop serving at 4.30 and are disappointingly militant about it, even if you arrive shortly after.
Best new brewery in Brussels! Super friendly owners, excellent beers on tap (as well as natural wine and home made soft drinks). - Bix
Amazing slection of beers. Friendly staff and lightly toasted malts as snack is simply brilliant. - Florian Weigl
Absolutely beautiful. There are multiple free tours around the square. Great place for a meal or coffee. - Shane D
