Yamato's Japanese Restaurant

Wonderful place. Worth every penny. Any chef is a good chef , but it's best if they intersect with you. :) Favorite is their seafood . Steak is amazing as well . Save some room for dessert !

Pretty much the best sushi place in the valley. Get the Nemo handroll , the Encino roll or a Japanese pizza . If you sit at the sushi bar , ask for Toshi or Peter .

Honestly - probably the best tappan yaki i've ever had. Seriously... a hidden gem . Next time you're craving benihana try this place instead.

Get the yamato margarita haha very generous with the alcohol and comes in one of the coolest cups =]

For Teppan , add the brown ginger sauce to the white sauce and mix in some hot sauce and lemon juice .
