A truly Irish pub in the city center with Irish music . Not as touristy as the pubs in the Temple Bar district.
Live music is incredible. It's like jam sessions of Irish music , very unique. Very good options of pints too, 5€ each. Worth the walk. And if you smoke, look for the beergarten after the toilets .
Love this traditional pub in Smithfield. Far enough away from town to not be a tourist trap. Very popular with the locals. Live acoustic trad music at one end, loud conversation at the other.
A real irish pub . Go there if you want to listen to the irish music and drink a pint in a great irish environment
Great pints and lovely whiskey selection . Oh, and the music !
The most reliable place for traditional Irish music . A bit removed from all the craziness of Temple Bar too.
local live music , when we were here it was just us and two guys playing flutes, it was very delightful
Authentic irish pub . A great place to have a pint.
Overall it's cosy, while eschewing unnecessary frills; if you want to avoid excessive paddywhackery in favour of genuine traditional Dublin pubbery, come here. Read more

The real taste of Ireland! Jam sessions of Irish music every day! must-see on your map while travelling in Dublin.
Really good place. Its in a corner at temple bar . Take a seat and listen the good music !
Have a night out in the Cobblestone and don't be put off by the exterior. Great atmosphere, great music , best bar in Dublin
Ignore the exterior - its just like that to scare away those not in the know :-)
Four Provinces beer on tap . I recommend IPA .
Nice Irish folk music and great atmosphere :-)
Come for the Irish music , stay for the Guinness
Traditional Irish music !
Pssst..! Don't tell anyone about this secret jewel of Dublin's musical scene!
Had a nice creamy pint of Guinness with my mate Noel. Trad music was mighty and the service great as usual. My favourite pub in the world!

Verdadeira música Irish ! Muito bom! Só não tem tira gosto! Só bebida!!....
По вечерам здесь играют национальную ирландскую музыку
Tipico pub irlandese dove si suona e si beve in compagnia!
Куча местных, живая музыка , шумно , атмосферно.
Try the evening 3 course menu with honey & black pepper smoked salmon salad as starter, wicklow lamb shank as main course and traditional bread & butter pudding as dessert... #delicious - Jay F Kay
Very lively and crowded especially during the weekend, but lots of fun and a great place to hang out and listen to music - Lina B.
One of my favourite Dublin pubs. A pick n mix of characters, beards to beat the band. Pints are great and the only regret I have is not buying that Bill O'Herlihy painting - Paul Farrell
True Irish pub experience. The locals and bartenders are friendly and the live music is great! - Ana Rege
Honestly this place is just amazing: either you are a foodie or craft beer lover. The beer choice is enormous. I went for local IPA with a coffee flavor (brewed in Stoneybatter). Also try boar meat! - Dzmitry Bazhko
One of my favorites pubs in Dublin, great Guinness and Amazing atmosphere. - Shayana Paiva da Motta
