Rotating tap that is a no brainer. Menu that I have eaten every item and never disappointed. My favorite is a scotch egg and a blue eggs and hammie . We're proud to have The Rose & Thistle as our local
The Thistle burger is tasty and you can get whatever you want on it, as many extras for free including avocado and bacon !

Large heated patio . Well made cocktails . Friendly staff . Usually a good cider is on.

Best scotch eggs in town . Outer crust is thin and crispy , sausage layer not at all greasy, complimented nicely by a sweet mustard dipping sauce .
Awesome local pub with great food and an even better staff . Try the rotating tap, it's always a safe bet.
Solid beer selection and the food's pretty good. Get a pint of Guinness or the Scottish Fearless.
Thistle burger with your call on tppings. My current favorite: bacon , jalapeno , smoked gouda .
Try the back porch on game days. It's quieter and there are space heaters.
