Tripoint

Our planet has less than 100 international tripoints on land, at which the borders of three countries meet, and this is one of them. It even used to be a quadripoint for almost 100 years (1830-1914).

After Napoleon 's defeat, the Neutral Moresnet microstate was created to settle a dispute over the town 's zinc mine ownership, making this place a quadripoint from the Belgian Revolution till WWI.

Interesting place to see three countries come together. The observation tower is worth its price.

The pavement around this tripoint has also been divided in three. Showing Germany , Belgium and the Netherlands .

Nice place to hang out. It's a pleasant and quirky place where you can say you've been in Germany , Netherlands and Belgium .

This three border point is very historic and it’s of course a nice place to be.

Uitgangspunt van de grenzrouten. Mooie, goed gemarkeerde wandelingen door 3 landen .

Voldoende restaurants, een speeltuin , een doolhof. Parkeren is goedkoop (2,-). Verder alles apart afrekenen en zo wordt nog een duur uitstapje. De toren is verwaarloosd. Wel 3,50 pp neertellen...

Gezellig pannenkoek eten in de taverne daar, een echte aanrader
