Foodcourt felt cool & breezy despite the raging noon sun & all kitchens busy. Lots of HVLS fans at the main hall, & ceiling fans at the extended dining area
My favorite is poppiah at the end of food center.
Rojak gravy simply awesome...nice side dish go along wit the famous chicken rice ...chicken murtabak listed as one of the best in soshiok.com...tried and seconding it too
Chicken rice . Ming Ji is generous with their meat cuts for $3.50. Rice is fragrant. Enjoyable!

Duck porridge is great for breakfast and Teh Si Peng ( ice tea ) is super good.

Yong tau foo : Koo Kee serves a pretty bland bowl. Order here only if chicken rice shop next door has a long q or closed, or if u dun eat chicken :-P
Braised duck rice . Yu Kee serves average duck meat cuts. $4 premium for a standard serving ????
Both Yong taufoo & Bak chor mee stalls have very plain fare. You have better value for money with rice stalls.
the chicken rice stall has very good meat rice and duck porridge . also try the beef horfun from the seafood place at the end of the row!

The zi char stall here is not bad. I love the fishhead hotpot . Not forgetting the other stalls. Worth a try!
Chicken rice is the best! Carrot cake is great with anchovies ? Super good zhi char and butter crayfish is a must try.
