Latin World is a mexican restaurant Brockton Village Toronto located in Canada.

This place is a wee Mexican grocery store with a few tables. Eat the menu, super prices. I loved the chicken tamale and we had a mess of tacos . Must get the jalapeño carrot pickles .
Most weekdays there's a $1 taco special: on buying 3 tacos or a drink; there's burritos but Mexicans don't actually eat them. So try something more exciting! The food here has a very home-cooked feel
Pozole with chicken was chicken soup with Mexican corn . It was pretty good. The use of Mexican corn was nice and gave the soup more body than normal; Horchata (sweet rice drink ) was a little dilute.
Complimentary tortilla chips (for dine in) were thick & crunchy & came with 3 spicy sauce . Our server was very proactive in refilling the tortilla chips - service here is great.
Chilaquiles : tortilla pieces in a spicy sauce . Dish very spicy but good, though tortilla chips got soggy fast. Enchiladas verdes : quite similar, but less spicy & with rice not tortilla pieces. Ok.
A Latin American convenience store most days, but on Saturday they serve up pretty tasty papusas and tamales . Fresh and priced right, although you might have to wait.
$1 pork street tacos Tuesdays (carnitas ) and Wednesdays (pastor)
Huevos a la mexicana was scrambled eggs with beans and with a purple tortilla to wrap it all. It was ok.
Tres leches cake was good - very moist. Churros were pretty good but the chocolate sauce was thin.
The store and restaurant are across from each other. The store has a cool selection of Mexican food items. The restaurant’s food isn’t bad but watch out for dirty utensils.
My burrito was delicious
Great food, fairly priced . One of the best REAL Mexican restaurants in town .
The shrimp taco is my favourite. The Campechano comes a close second. - Daniel Hritzkiv
