Friday's special is prime rib . Best I have had in a long time. Generous portion , excellent sides.

Fairbanksans love their bars and this mainly-locals spot nestled in the Goldstream valley is one of the best. Unless you're a Red Sox fan.

Any table is good seating. GLUTEN FREE options !! Also the crab stuffed mushrooms are really good.

Great bar , awesome food, burgers are huge! Matt and Chaz are great bartenders , tip well and enjoy the oasis in the woods we like to call the goldstream valley !

Interesting people watching opportunities, some locals are friendly as anything, others revel in being a crusty asshole stereotype. Hit or miss for which you'll get, so be ready.

Best to avoid this place if you're a Red Sox fan. Otherwise, good times. The original IJ's burned down in the 80's, but the replacement is even better.

Worst service ever!! We got accused of drinking more drinks then we did. I don't mind paying what I drink but when I corrected the angry waitress she took the drinks off and threw the bill at us.

Wear your carhart pants, t shirt and ball cap if you expect service to be at all attentive. Monderosa has far better grub than this place, 3 hour ordeal over a burger and a samich. Save your money.
