House is worth a visit, but make time for the gardens and woodland walk too. Nice views of the house from across the lake . Steps and no prams allowed in the house so a carrier good for babies.
If you go on a walk on the other side of the estate there are some fabulous hidden playgrounds for kids, beautiful views of the wield and all hidden amongst s forest trail .
Fascinating place to visit, the Monet in the drawing room is a highlight and good for a walk through the woods if it’s dry.
Surprisingly delightful number of vegan options on the cafe menu - which is rarely the case at places like this ????❤️ Great work National Trust .
Its Winston Churchills house and it is worth the visit. Make time for the gardens and woodlands to walk, they are huge and very nice

Great walks for children in the grounds, lots of dens etc to play in.

Great family day out. Childhood home of Anne Boylyn. Worth a walk around but the gardens are lovely. Also try the archery for £4 for 10 arrows. - Craig Duncan
