House-smoked ribs , expertly cooked prime rib & over 20 well-chosen ales & lagers . Every detail has been prepared with fastidious attention -- so that you don't need to pay any attention at all.
We stopped for lunch after a walk through the zoo . Lamb burger seasoning was a burst of fantastic flavor. Kids loved the deep-fried Oreos too
The turkey sliders are the best thing there. Love the atmosphere here. Great for watching a game and an awesome beer selection .
Play District Trivia every Monday at 7:30pm with the CSN Trivia Challenge and a chance to win $5,000 in cash!
Don't know why everyone is hating on here. They have great specials all of the time. It is a typical bar but that's what I look for. They're super kid friendly . Nice staff . SOME waiters suck though.
Wednesday night = half off drafts . With free wifi (pwd: citybar1 ) perfect for late night work sessions.
Better than your average bar food . The chef takes great pride in making food accessible, delicious, and good for you vs the average heart attack grub.
Really like the atmosphere for football games, mix of teams, friendly people, wings were a bit burnt, ok burgers , bathrooms a bit messy but will come back for drinks!!!
The backyard BBQ wings are really good. You can watch any sport broadcast, the staff will tune in for you.
Damn good sports bar if your a real football (soccer ) fan. Cheap drinks on Wednesday and most game times, with good selection
23 HDTV's, a 140" HD projector screen, 24 taps, an outdoor patio with TV 's, and D.C. United soccer . What more can a fan want. Lou's City Bar is an official MLS pub !
Great tvs to view any game you want. Tell them what team you are there to see and they will try to accommodate. They should offer a better beer special though.
Great place to watch sports ! They’ll usually flip one of the TVs to your game if you ask.
Try the tots ! Great food for a sports bar .
Shocker: in addition to the predictable wings and meats, there is one vegetarian (possibly vegan !) appetizer and portobello sandwich on menu, plus a few sides.
If you want sports , burgers , or specials come here. If you want a dive or indie bar go to zeba or raven down the street. I like Lou's a lot.
Fries sprinkled with Old Bay ... delicious! But my burger (ordered medium) was completely charred... hopefully this place will work out its kinks in the next few weeks of opening.
16 oz coors lt for $19 is a hell of a deal ($2.50 per 12oz beer .) You've gotta do it.
This place has some awesome food. Loved the potato skins ! Great sports bar .
HH buy one get one Monday to Friday 2:30 pm to 7 pm
Buffalo wings r incredible....a must have
Turkey burger is the way to go here. Has a kick.
Chef Mike Rocks! Try the Wings and the Lamb Burger .
New menu!!!! Amazing stuff now! Almost all new tasty dishes.
Best Happy Hour in the City !
Get the french toast for bunch, it's delicious! Comes with a free mimosa too!
Love this friendly neighborhood place !
Okay, get the potato skins and the grilled cheese . But don't expect much from the fries . In a word: flaccid.
The place is called Lou's City Bar. Get yo self some real ass eggs , lady!
Quinoa salad with blackened chicken FTW
They've added more TV 's and a giant HD projection screen...can't wait for that when football season starts up!
The fried Oreos are divine!
GREAT French Dip sandwich but steer clear of the subpar wings . The sauce is more water than flavor.
Plenty of screens but limited good angles to watch the same screen with more than a few friends. And ditto on the limited vegetarian options .
Free shots for the bar when the Caps score a goal. New favourite sports establishment!
The beef dip is solid, though the bun trends to disintegrate on you...
The food is pretty OK -- I liked the fiesta tots though the burger was nothing special -- but definitely come for the TVs .
Craig is the bartender to talk to if you're a college basketball fan.
Half off drafts on Wednesdays!
This place has NESN. There's really no need to ever go anywhere else, ever again.
Also, took 10+ mins to get a waitress to look at us but the tots came out in under five mins.
The fiesta tots and nachos are gross.
Great food, Great Beer , & Plenty of big screens !
I want to like this place so much but the only thing it has going for it is the wings .
Come on Wednesday - all drafts half off all day.
Conveniently located, but the kitchen needs to iron out its kinks in terms of the wait time. Blackened bleu burger is pretty decent.
For wifi access use "citybar1 "
Lou's is run worse than your neighborhood Applebee's. The staff is not to blame here; the problems are so extreme they can only be caused management. I don't plan to return here
Wifi password - citybar1
Great happy hour specials .
Monday nights salsa! It's like Cheers where everyone knows your name. A sports bar. An unlikely but awesome venue for salsa and sports. - Mextaliana
Great sports bar. if in from out of town they have the best HD TVs and great sports atmosphere. - Joe Albino
Margarita pizza is very good. Sex and the city martini is also great. - Kate T
Food is delicious! Try a brunch skillet. So good! They also have a yummy beer selection! - John Baker
