Omakase is chef Alan's special, 10 nigiri for $30. Uni (from Mendocino) is fresh, piled up high on nigiri ! Also like their kurodai (black snapper/sea bream). Make reservations + check in when u arrive
So good! Small place w/ big portions (I piece of sashimi is equivalent to 2 pieces at many other restaurants .) Get here at 5pm. If you get here at 6pm expect to wait.
Great food for a great price. Must try the super spicy roll and the dragon roll ! Make sure you call ahead for a reservation though because it is very small inside and there is a wait.
Be prepared to wait even with a reservation and if you come too late, they might run out of their omakase . Some of the nigiri choices were a bit untraditional but all delicious
Fattest & freshest salmon sashimi ever! Wasabi is made super fresh and tastes like no other I've had before. Eat the sashimi with the wasabi -without- mixing it with soy sauce to bring out the flavor.
Wow. Surprised to discover this place. Outstanding quality across the board. An Omakase sushi option that blew me away.
The omakase is always a good start. Always keep an eye out for the oyster special
Fresh sushi , great quality, large portions , and priced right! Omakase ($30)
Omakase for $36 isn't bad. Expect to wait a little even if you have a reservation
Sashimi and nigiri was amazing. Definitely try the specials. Chef omakase ran out by 7:30.
Melt in your mouth roll good, red and white roll ok, chicken karage good
The Santa Barbara uni is always fresh and given in generous portions .
Ramen has a lot of stuff to mix in and enough to share. Green tea ice cream tastes homemade . Yum!
Get the omakase . Worth every penny, best value and quality ratio.
Everything is pretty great but the omakase and butter fish stand out
Get the baby lobster ! You'll have a "moment" with it. Its on the specials board :)
Tuna tartar roll is a MUST!
Romeo Juliet roll good, dragon roll also good
the salmon sashimi was very flavorful. definitely the 50% off sushi during dinner time was well worth it. better than taravel's sushi raw.
the #33 sushi tasting menu is a must try for one.
Sunset roll ok and salmon lover roll good
Omakase good, pork ramen not good, chicken Katsu good
Sashimi and sushi is just super fresh here! Everything is tasty!!
Service wasn't the best and it took wayyy too long to bring out 3 salads and 4 rolls, but overall food quality was really good! I'd make a second trip.
Good tea and a good selection of nigiri (Japanese and English names)
Try the chefs special hand roll - spicy tuna and salmon skin ... It's awesome!!
This place is small, so definitely worth it to make a reservation ! Otherwise prepare to wait 40+ minutes.
awesome special of 50% off certain sushi rolls if you spend at least $10.00 per person. deep fried california roll is only $3 something.
Great sushi ! Long wait even with reservation
Get the omakase . $30 for 10 nigiri . Do it.
Top restaurant for sushi and sashimi
The baby lobster nigiri is the best!
Omakase was amazing!
The food is decent here but not enough to justify the long wait , the lack of respect for reservations , and terrible service. They also don't speak English very well so be prepared to speak Chinese.
the portion of terriyaki chicken in the bento box is really little... but it's the best chicken terriyaki ever!
Get here early for the omakase . Or else you'll be sad.
The fish was good but the service was terrible. I ordered some dishes but never received them.
Try Supa Spicy and Dark Dragon rolls .
Snow White and Romeo & Juliet are recommended rolls.
Omasake $30
Best sushi delivery in the area! you can also order online via eat24hours.com
Yummy. Try the seafood salad and deep fried CA roll.
Service so bad here. Went here tonight at around 9pm. Sat down for 10 min with no tea or no one taking our order. We left. Even received a thank you from the cashier not knowing I didn't even eat yet.
$35 for 20 piece sushi . Yes.
Kitchen closes at 10, not 10:30 (as posted on Yelp). #falseadvertisement
Muy bueno. De los mejores japoneses a precio racional que he estado .
Nice ambiance, good service, very reasonably priced, and great happy hour! $2 for a small beer, small hot sake, or sake bomb! - Czarina L
Very good nigiri. And the snow and king crab is real crab meat - William Johnson
Mochi waffles are great! You can order a plain one to snack on. - Amy W.
Egg puffs are pretty big! I would recommend to share between 2 or 3! Jasmine milk tea isn't too sweet! - Jason Wong
I always get the crystal jelly w/mango juice and coconut dessert drink! So refreshing and delicious! - Melanie Tansuwan
